Vacant positions are posted as they become available. Current position(s):

  • The Youth Care Worker ensures that all youth are supervised and cared for according to NYS licensing regulations, as well as according to the Shelter's rules and regulations.

  • Provide services and referrals to disenfranchised youth in efforts to provide them with positive and constructive activities that assist them in safely exiting the streets. This will include direct contact with youth in a variety of settings including Outreach Centers and the streets of local communities in keeping with CAPTAIN policies and procedures and grant requirements.

  • The Case Manager assists the Youth Development Program Manager, and is responsible for developing individualized integrated employment and educational plans, providing case management and maintaining consistent regular contact with youth, matching youth with appropriate community resources and referrals, and monitoring and following up with all youth enrolled in the program.
