Job Assist
Job Assist is a free youth employment matching program for youth ages 14-21 residing in the Shenendehowa or Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake School Districts, and local employers. Youth are provided with job matching support and employment readiness skills related to interviewing, resume preparation, understanding the hiring process and setting professional expectations for the world of work.
While matching first-time job seekers with employment, Job Assist helps youth to develop:
- Employment readiness skills
- Interviewing
- Resume preparation
- Understanding the hiring process
- Setting professional expectations for the world of work
- Work experience
- Positive self-esteem
Youth may enroll by filling out an application online.
Businesses and local residents seeking to hire youth may apply to have their job opportunities listed. Full-time, part-time, seasonal, and odd jobs are acceptable. Youth with matching skills will be referred to the employer to apply.

The Job Assist Program receives funding from the Saratoga County Department of Aging and Youth and the Towns of Clifton Park and Halfmoon.
